What Gmail does better than us.
- It is already there: nothing to install, nothing more to pay.
- Everything happens in Gmail, on a computer and on a phone: delegated accounts are in the Gmail app since July 2026.
- For one or two people who take turns on an address, delegation is often enough.
- In Google Workspace, the admin creates the shared inbox from the Admin console.
If one person looks after the mailbox and someone else covers now and then, keep Gmail: it is enough, and it is free.
