Refer a team

A free month for you, a free month for them.

You know another team that shares one address, at a club, a school or the office next door. Send them your referral link or your code: once they pay for their first month, you each get a free month.

How it works

   Find your link and your code

   In Trupeo, under Settings › This mailbox › Referrals. They appear once you pay for a mailbox you own.

2. 2

   Send them to a team

   The link by email or message, the code by phone or on paper. The team types the code when it signs up, or later, up to its first payment.

3. 3

   You each get a free month

   When that team pays its first invoice, a month of each subscription comes off the next invoice, yours and theirs.

The rules

• The month is earned on the referred team's first paid invoice: an account created and left earns nothing.
• Each side gets one month of its own subscription, as a credit taken off its next invoice.
• The free month goes on the mailbox whose link or code the team used. If that mailbox is not paying when the month is earned, it gets nothing, and the team you refer still gets its month.
• Up to 12 free months a year for each mailbox. Past that, the team you refer still gets its month.
• A team that shares a member with the mailbox that referred it earns nothing on either side.
• Every email sent from a paying mailbox carries that mailbox's link in its “Sent with Trupeo” line, as long as the line is on.

Where your link is

Open Trupeo, then Settings › This mailbox › Referrals. Your link and your code are there, with the accounts created through them and the months they earned.

Did a team give you a code?

Type it when you create your account, under “I have a referral code”. Already signed up? Add it in Settings › This mailbox › Referrals, until your first payment.
